Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants Program

EPA's goal is to provide an environment where all people enjoy the same degree of protection from environmental and health hazards and equal access to the decision-making process to maintain a healthy environment in which to live, learn, and work. Community Change Grants focus on community-driven initiatives to be responsive to community and stakeholder input. This program is designed to deliver on the transformative potential of the IRA for communities most adversely and disproportionately impacted by climate change, legacy pollution, and historical disinvestments.

Eligibility

Eligible entities include partnerships between two community-based non-profit organizations (CBOs) or partnerships between a CBO and Federally-Recognized Tribe, local government, or institution of higher education.
