Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP)

The Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program provides financial assistance to eligible applicants to develop sustainable, multidisciplinary targeted violence and terrorism prevention capabilities in local communities, to pilot innovative prevention approaches, and to identify prevention best practices that can be replicated in communities across the country.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include special district governments, private institutions of higher education, city or township governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), state governments, Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), county governments, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, and independent school districts.
