NFWF National Coastal Resilience Fund
NFWF makes investments in planning, design, and implementation of natural and nature-based solutions. The goal is to enhance protections for coastal communities from the impacts of storms, floods, and other natural coastal hazards and to improve habitats for fish and wildlife.
The NCRF is a national program focused on enhancement of resilience for coastal communities. Projects must be located within the coastal areas of U.S. coastal states, including the Great Lakes states, and U.S. territories and tribal lands.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include non-profit 501(c) organizations, state and territorial government agencies, local governments, municipal governments, Tribal governments and organizations, educational institutions, or commercial (for-profit) organizations. Ineligible applicants include federal agencies or employees of federal agencies, foreign organizations, foreign public entities and unincorporated individuals.
Ineligible Uses of Grant Funds
Equipment, with exceptions;
To obtain equipment, services, or systems that use telecommunications equipment or services produced by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation as a substantial or essential component, or as critical technology of any system;
To support political advocacy, fundraising, lobbying, litigation, terrorist activities or Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations;
To support ongoing efforts to comply with legal requirements, including permit conditions, mitigation and settlement agreements; and
To fund projects that take place within the United States or territories or their respective waterways.
