EPA Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Program

The Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) is a resource for learning about toxic chemical releases and pollution prevention activities reported by industrial and federal facilities. TRI data support informed decision-making by communities, government agencies, companies, and others.

This site includes a description of TRI, resources for facilities to complete and submit TRI reporting forms, and TRI data, materials, and usage examples.

The TRI Toxics Tracker is also available on this site. It identifies industrial facilities in your community that release chemicals into the air, water, and land, or manage the waste through other methods. It shows what chemicals these facilities release, efforts to reduce releases, and potential health impacts associated with the chemical releases.
