WI Summer Tribal Youth Program

Matching funds are available to Wisconsin tribes for the development of a summer program that provides tribal youth (ages 13-19) with an opportunity to work on projects related to natural resource conservation.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are all federally recognized American Indian tribes or bands domiciled in Wisconsin are eligible to apply.

Eligible projects are summer programs for youth to work on projects related to the conservation of natural resources. Eligible costs include salaries, wages and benefits for employees; youth stipends/salaries; indirect costs; purchased services; office space; program recruitment and materials; hourly equipment rental charges; vehicle/equipment rental costs; training; construction materials; and in-kind contributions.
