Wisconsin is well known for our manufacturing. We provide incentives to manufacturers to maximize their production here including the Manufacturing and Agriculture Credit, which virtually eliminates the tax on income.
Wisconsin Soil and Water Resource Management (SWRM) Grant Program
Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)
Business
The SWRM program helps fund county soil and water conservation staff and support expenditures, landowner conservation projects, and cooperators and OPC contracts.
Wisconsin Statewide Organic Community of Practice

Food Systems
The Wisconsin Statewide Organic Community of Practice is a cross-sector learning network that brings together farmers, food businesses, certifiers, researchers, nonprofits, and agency partners to strengthen Wisconsin’s organic sector. Convened by Wisconsin Organics, the group meets regularly online to share timely information, compare on-the-ground experiences, and surface common challenges and opportunities facing organic production and markets in the state. Participants collaborate on practical solutions, coordinate outreach and events, and help align research, technical assistance, and policy efforts so Wisconsin’s organic farms and rural communities can thrive.
Wisconsin’s Weatherization Assistance Program

Housing
The Division of Energy Housing and Community Resources contracts with various agencies throughout the state to provide weatherization services to eligible households.
Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) Technical Assistance Grant Program
U.S. Department of Labor

Provides technical assistance (TA) to employers and labor unions in the United States and its territories to encourage employment of women in both apprenticeable occupations and nontraditional occupations.
